I have long wanted to start up a food/ fitness blog, believe it or not. One of my other passions than music is food and my attempts to stay relatively warrior-fit as I feel it helps me maintain the best version of myself allowing myself to fulfill my “codes” – which are: “how you do anything is how you do everything” and “do the work”. Which to me means, when I look after myself well, I am my own private superhero, and I look better in a cape and leotard, too.

Since AnalogSuicide’s birth in 2007, I have wanted to maintain a more diary-like aspect to my music making and learning process while keeping it juicy, inclusive and colorful. And true to me – the music & machine lover, goofball composer, creative weirdo, & avid performer. And food lover, yogi and avid yet aspiring cyclist, believe it or not.

This blog has been an interesting ride, and I want it to continue to evolve (“because it can”). You can expect the same gear lust and goofy updates from my studio, but I am also sharing a bit of my lifestyle as a means of keeping myself sane and healthy. You see, I adore cooking and fitness, but the underside of the lake also contains my indulgent tenancy to wildly fuck up the best laid fitness regimen and diet. Last year was a rather wild ride, & I tended to lay low – I even became quite reclusive despite a few choice shows as I Speak Machine – but my health eventually took a big hit, I got weirdly depressed and I managed to eat & drink my way through the rest of the year – by the end being heavier than I ever was. Which I, the vain little fucker that I am (I mean that in the kindest possible way, ahem…), didn’t find acceptable at all.

I’m starting this to see myself in writing and not lose myself – complete with the hopeful progress, some interesting/ passionate bits of cookery, inevitable fuck-ups and how it all weaves into my noisy little world.

Now to actually *do* this….
