Behind the world of I SPEAK MACHINE with Tara Busch & Maf Lewis

THE SILENCE VINYL is here…plus LA shows!

Greetings all.

As spring brings longer days of blazing sun and the grimy haze of pollen (as you can see, I’m a fan), the upside is, the vinyl copies of our soundtrack to THE SILENCE are finally here! Lovingly released by our label Lex Records in the UK, this is limited to 300 copies. The artwork on the cover that we’re so excited about was created by Optigram.

As I may have written before ( I don’t remember), this is an extended soundtrack to our 34 minute science fiction short called, of course, THE SILENCE. The soundtrack contains several extended versions of movements in the film plus songs that don’t appear in the film but were inspired by it ( the opening track “Run”, for example).

Get it here.

More live news: We will also be playing Human Resources in Los Angeles April 18th, if you’re in the area! We’ll be showing 2 shorts – The Silence plus Gagglebox….here’s a taste of the latter (but I’ll *only* have ONE synth this time):

Plus I’ll be performing a few weirdo covers and a few songs from my first solo album Pilfershire Lane that I haven’t played in about…erm…7 years or so. We’ll also have Carlos Rossi of the magnificent Deathwaltz Recording Company in the UK and the awesome Afterhours as well.

See you there!
