Behind the world of I SPEAK MACHINE with Tara Busch & Maf Lewis

Tara

SEE! ARP 2600 & Tara Busch duet on a cover of The Beatles’ Ticket to Ride…

Truth be told, I had just watched the video for The Carpenters’ devastating version on this song and it stuck with me throughout the day….I guess it was in my subconscious when it all came together…

Meanwhile, during my time getting to know Mr ARP and rehearsng for the big I Speak Machine gig on September 21st, I fell upon a patch that grabbed me, cyclical, grumbling & warm….and I just began to sing to it. Alas, the cover was born. I originally mentioned it in this post and thought it might be nice to keep it a secret & pop it out at the show, but not possible with my big mouth. I slapped on some makeup & we filmed away!

Maybe I’ll get to play it for you Sunday after the films to end the evening?
Anyway, here it is, my little Beatles/Carpenters cover from outer space…filmed by Maf Lewis. And thanks again to G Force Software for letting me be a gleeful foster parent for this gorgeous machine.
