The Name of the Game is Lightworks….
I am singing “Lightworks” at the Raymond Scott 75th Anniversary party at Disney Hall, November 9th. Rather excited about this. As much as I adore the blinking, winking lights of the machines I keep company with, singing is still my first love. Singing my own music would be the most instinctive, but singing this legendary jingle stirs my heart to joy. And I get to don my best Doris Day/ Peggy Lee voice!
I’ll also be synthing as well as singing, but Ive been toddling around the house all day singing this. My poor husband…

I’m pretty sure it was Dorothy Collins, Raymond Scott’s second wife, that performed this vocal. Lovely.
