Behind the world of I SPEAK MACHINE with Tara Busch & Maf Lewis

Tara

Tara Busch- “Somewhere Over the Moogerfooger”…

Here is the first of several suttle hints pertaining to a tip-top, super-secret project Maf & I are currently working on…..
As the golden, dusky hour of 4:30pm rolled in like the twinkling, twirling fanfare of an antique carousel, Maf & I were found scampering up the stairs, through the door & into the studio with our “basket of sonic treasure” we collected from one of our favorite locations on Planet Earth…the glorious Griffith Park.
Here is a short, rather pleasant surprise detour we took from our project at hand…. feeding the 3 Moogerfoogers‘(MF104Z to MF103 to MF101) a signal from our camera which, after a twist of tweeks and turns, led us to the inevitable – “Somewhere Over the Rainbow“….via tarabusch on YouTube….
P.S – How much fun would an MP-201 be in this picture?

  3. That is just such a cool performance. What a clever (and probably unexpected) use of Moogerfoogers!

  4. I like it. You can make noise beautifully musical! What foogers were you using?

  5. Thanks for the kind words…a bit unexpected indeed!
    The Moogerfoogers are linked – Camera noise ->
    -> MF104Z Analog Delay -> MF103 12 Stage Phaser -> MF101 Lo- Pass Filter…into our LA-610 mic pre/ compressor running into a MOTU Traveler into Logic Pro 7.

    Wish list: MF 107 Freq Box and the new MP 201.
    Good times!
