Behind the world of I SPEAK MACHINE with Tara Busch & Maf Lewis

I Speak Machine plays the BFI’s “Don’t Panic” Sci-Fi series in Milton Keynes THIS FRIDAY!

Greetings! I have rather cleverly waited till it is 2 hours before I have to leave for the airport to tell you about all this…but we will be screening three of our films at the British Film Institute’s “Don;t Panic” science-fiction series in Milton Keynes at the MK Gallery, December 5th at 7:30!

Here’s the Facebook event page where you can find ticketing info as well.

We’ll be screening the films “Gagglebox” (based on a horrible nightmare I had about a man with a cardboard head), The Silence ( soundtrack coming out JANUARY 19th on Lex Records, by the way) and “There’s Someone in the House Next Door” (shot at the incredibly creepy semi-abandoned house next to my parent’s house in Statesville, NC).
Side note: I talked about these films in a bit more detail with my friend (and one of my main musical heroes) Clint Mansell here on Drowned in Sound back in August. Have a read.

Here are some glimpses behind the scenes!

Also I’ll be performing a “Moog version” of my Beatles cover Ticket To Ride! I’ve managed to knock up a doable version using my Voyager and Clusterflux which you may find tasty. Don’t think I didn’t try to kidnap that ARP 2600 again from Dave Spiers! It’s in use, sadly. HA.

I also hope we have time to visit Bletchley Park. Of course!

Stay tuned! Our last show of the year is coming up December 18th at the Neighborhood Theater in Charlotte NC where we will partnering with the Bob Moog Foundation! Till then see you UK dears Friday, I hope!
