Drumssette – Mystery Circuits’ Mike Walter’s Beautiful New Machine!
I havent even read about this yet, but just opened my email, and can’t wait to share it…
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know Mike Walters from his wonderful creations, The Melloman and his Breadbox synth (Soundlab Mini Synth), both of which I had the honor of him playing on my album, Pilfershire Lane. Well, here’s his latest beauty which I’d love to try, Drumssette!
It’s an incredibly unique, sweet new programmable drum machine created using a Tascam four track cassette recorder:

Seeing stuff like this is always inspiring. It makes me want to go to my work bench and solder away. It really is amazing how Mike manages to cobble these things together.
