Hello all – just a big thank you for all the kind words and messages today about this remix. Just wanted to let everyone know, I *really* don’t know who this is. I was contacted anonymously and I’m totally happy to work like that considering the wonderful art that I’ve been given the privilege to work with.
A few weeks ago, I was anonymously sent the audio stems of iamamiwhoami’s recent iTunes release – a mind bending song simply titled “b”. The only instructions were “08.04.10″. After an excited gasp & a hefty shot of espresso, I switched on the machines and set about to remix the fabulous iamamiwhoami. I have no idea if I was the only one who received the instructions or if another 100 producers around the world did as well. When you’re invited to participate in a game this cool, you don’t ask too many questions.

I am almost assumed to say this Viral and it’s sounds have me .Hook .Line. & Sinker . If I had to wager on the Vocal alone I would have to guess Lykke Li , but the visuals seam to relate to Jonna Lee and her band (from the B video) . Anyway sorry about the rant , but I had a couple of questions Tara …
1. How were the stems sent to you ?
2. Have either Jonna Lee , Lykke Li ,or Claes Björklund ever expressed interest and or admiration in regards to your work prior to the whole imami thing ? As I would assume this is someone who you have had contact with before , but may not have known it .
3. Who is this Dave you guys speak of ?
4. And on an unrelated note will I ever get to here you cover "goodbye blue sky "

just saw your remix on amazon. so i was wondering how did you sign the licensing contract if you don’t even know the licensee’s identity?

first of all, LOVE LOVE LOVE the mix! is there any way you could post the stems in seperate files either on youtube or analogsuicide/soundcloud or provide a download link? im a DJ myself and would so LOVE to remix the song, as well as just in general hear the song when its taken apart.
