Tara

A Sample (and Hold..) of Things To Come….

Here are some photos from our recent trip to NYC …

Let me catch you up – Our trip back east was centered around an upcoming project I participated in with Tim Love Lee (Tummy Touch Records) and Jeremy Mage called Heart Sounds And Murmurs. The project was a tribute to the Krautrock band Harmonia’s 1974 album, Muzik Von Harmonia. Using the same recipe as Harmonia did to create Muzik Von Harmonia,  the three of us recorded three live, improvised tracks to create a song.

Above: Harmonia in 1973.

We completed the album in one lovely week and performed an improvised set at Michael Alan’s  Draw a Thon at the Gershwin Hotel the day after we finished recording! I also performed a solo set for the occasion and will post a clip from it very soon.

Here are a few juicy photos…more to come including a mini “Tara Documentary” (consider yourself warned…) – don’t touch that dial!

Above: Name the machine…(I call her my new best friend.)

Above: Tim & Jeremy in fine company with Macbeth M5, Korg SQ 10 Sequencer & many a Synthesizers.com module…oh, and me (ha.).

Above: The mouthwatering Roland CR 78

Below: And lastly a few live shots: the first is me singing with my dorky new RC 50 & Moogerfooger 104Z. See the footage up here shortly!

Much more soon….

  2. I too can’t wait. Shame I didn’t know you all were in NYC, I probably could’ve come down from Boston for the show. Harmonia are one of my biggest influences.
