As you well know (I hope) we are greatly enamoured with all things Optigan – this lusciously kitsch instrument was used quite a bit on the making of my Tummy Touch release, ‘Pilfershire Lane’ - it is a great machine that is, in my mind, quite versatile.

So, I was indeed delighted when Optigan enthusiast and fellow musician Pea Hix approached me about contributing my voice to his new Optigan disc, “Minimalism”. I contributed 3 octaves of sustained solfege notes from F to high F, in the style of what you’d find on a Chamberlain.
