Welcome to the festivities! Shall we begin?
One of my longtime favorite bands is the fantastic Rocketgoldstar, hailing from my home away from home, Cardiff! Maf & I saw these fellas rock it many moons ago at Clwb Ivor Bach. Consisting of band members Sion Orgon, Gaz Williams and Frank Static, the music is full of nutrition for me, containing just the right blend of structure and freakout….not to mention they posess a thunderous stage presence (which included keyboard/multi-instrumentalist Frank Static’s keyboard collapsing to the floor as he carried on playing without batting an eyelash) and are also known for their work with the lovely Thighpaulsandra.
