ahhhh…the portishead post is just great…i would say my favorite "priceless find" is when i first started out playing with synths and i found an old ARp Solus in a vintage shop that the guy didnt know how to work so i paid $50 and didnt use it for a yea, then when i knew what i was doing, it is now my favorite peace of gear……..or the sound thrasher 2.0 from a guy in NYC for $20, its just an oscillator with freq control and reso cutoff, but hooked up to pedals, it sounds great!
