“Totally Wired” ! The Wonderful New Analog-u-mentary…
Sent our way by documentarian/ analog-u-mentarian ( do you like my new word?) Niamh Aher, here is the trailer for her upcoming documentary,”Totally Wired”.It is about “Andreas Schneider and his infamous analogue store in Berlin, Germany, called ‘Schneider’s Buero‘”.
In his own words:
“…The documentary explores the relationship between the boutique builders and gear – lusty musicians who make Schneider’s Buero an interface in its own right.
The documentary features some heavy inventors like Wowa Cwejmann, Dieter Doepfer and Ken Maccbeth as well as musicians like Ricardo Villalobos, Jessica Rylan, Daniel Miller and Junior Boys. “

There are some lovely tidbits here on their blog including this life – encompassing quote by Ken Macbeth:
“I want to make noise, lots of noise, all kinds of noise, every kind of noise. Possible.”.
— Ken MacBeth, Inventor
Agreed.
I loved the snippet of the soundtrack by the by composer Maho Masuda as well. Nice use of the Vermona Retroverb!
Wow- looks like we should make an AnalogSuicide.com trip to see Andreas Schneider’s “analogue Oz” of a boutique!
