Educating Tara, Part One (of many): Vince Clark!

This morning, I found myself in a state of "lazy Sunday", switching the dial on YouTube and watching my favorite British programs that Maf & I enjoyed while living in Cardiff. I gladly stumbled upon this recent clip from the Jonathan Ross show featuring the newly reformed Yazoo (shown below) and I realized that I know very little about Vince Clark. Shouldn't I know more ?

So, in that grand sense, I'd like for everyone to tell me more about this man that massively broke ground with his bands including Depeche Mode, Erasure and my favorite of them all featuring the magnificent Alison Moyet, Yazoo ( The beloved Pro One synthesizer was used quite heavily on the Yazoo albums, was it not?). Of course I can just "Google it", but I'd much rather hear the facts and figures from you, dear readers!

Here are some beautiful clips ranging from Depeche Mode in the early '80's to recent footage with Yazoo! Alison still sounds heavenly, I might add. Also, travel here for some greatness on Matrixsynth featuring Vince Clark.
