Behind the world of I SPEAK MACHINE with Tara Busch & Maf Lewis

John Foxx & The Maths/ Tara Busch Interplay Tour…Some lovely highlights!

Well, my attempt to cover this in proper tour diary, on the spot fashion was thwarted by the lack of decent internet connection – but here are a few bits that really shine in my memory! Maf & I had a wonderful time, and are deeply grateful to all who came out to spport the tour and cheer us on! Glasgow in particular was a bombastic wonderland; though each city was very appreciative and welcoming of me – not a bad reception for a support act!

Much more to post from the tour…just landed in Raleigh, NC last night, and off to get ready for the marvelous MoogFest today! I will write a big bombastic post about my involvement in MoogFest this year when I next land in Asheville – it’s gonna be fabulous! Check out the MoogFest schedule here in the meantime and I’ll catch up with you in a bit.

  2. Ms. Busch – your live film scores at Moogfest were wonderful! I was one of two people who applauded wildly when Maf mentioned John Foxx’s name while introducing you to the audience. Unfortunately, the three copies of your CD went like wildfire as members of the audience beat a hasty retreat for the merch counter and left me having to buy it elsewhere. Give all my best to JF as I was troubled to hear of his injury last weekend. I’ve never seen him perform but as my favorite artist of the last 31 years, it’s my hope that one day I’ll be able to make the trip and bask in the glow. My wife assures me that any time near my 50th birthday, [9-26-13] we’ll go wherever it takes to experience a Foxx show, so put in a good word to the gent. He’s been wonderfully active of late and I hope that he’ll still be so in two years. The explosion of releases after that 12 year cooling-off period has been very gratifying, and The Maths album is a career peak.
