Behind the world of I SPEAK MACHINE with Tara Busch & Maf Lewis

Tara

Win Tara’s MOOG SUB PHATTY signed by Gary Numan and Tara…Plus a shiny nasty new cover of CARS!

I hope you’re excited. To make a long story short, I wound up with two Sub Phattys as I was preparing for the UK / EU string of dates (which start tomorrow in Liverpool). Then, after booking the Gary Numan support shows in London & LA, we decided it was time to do something nice & a bit bonkers – give away the synth I am currently using on this tour and will be using for the shows with Gary. Why the hell not?

So – all the info is on the I Speak Machine website, including the giveaway entry….It’s FUN, dammit.

And to further celebrate and show of the Sub Phatty’s sharp little teeth a bit, I created a cover of the classic Numan masterpiece, Cars. I’ll be playing this at all the upcoming shows ( if you want me to!). All the musical components were done on the Sub Phatty (term, except for my voice and the samples).

  2. Inspired cover… Nicely distilled version of the original synth lead. Creepy samples! Very, very cool!

  7. Saw you at the Telegram Ballroom in LA last nite! WOW. You really know how to work that thing. I think you practiced that just a little! Punish your machine as front 242 would say.
