And the Machines Sing Mooglike….
I just love overcast days in LA – I love the drowsiness of the palm trees, the clouds, slowly and stoically crawling like these creatures over the mountains that I see from my window.
The studio stays cool despite the burning whirr of the machines (we know how roasty that can get) and my head feels calm and creative. Until the coffee wears off….makes me this of this song, “overcast days never turned me on”…best beginning of a song ever. Perfection.
Anyway, amateur poetics aside, today’s thoughts & racket come to me courtesy of…...a rather fatigued larynx, Rode microphones Electro Harmonix and Moogerfoogers 103, 104Z and of *course* 108M..and of course the UAD Roland Dimension D. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday, really. What am I working on? We shall see soon…here’s the lineup of suspects! Might post some noise later, we’ll see.
